Lanre Ojuola, Divisional Head, Lagos West and South West Standard Alliance Insurance Plc.
Lanre Ojuola is the Divisional Head for Lagos West and South West of the company. He joined Standard Alliance Insurance Plc in February 2017 from Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc. He is a dedicated professional with over two decades experience in the banking and insurance industries in Nigeria – having worked in a number of financial institutions including Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc, Universal Trust Bank Limited and the erstwhile Equitorial Trust Bank Limited (now Sterling Bank Plc). He has garnered valuable experience in Insurance Underwriting, Banking Operations, and Inspection – and also played a pivotal role in setting up the Internal Control Department of one of the leading financial institutions in the Country. While at Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc., he led the hunt for identification and expansion of new markets opportunities while also coordinating the strategic planning process, and championing the formulation, implementation and monitoring strategies across the various businesses.
He is a Chartered Insurer and holds a B.Sc. Degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos having passed out as the best graduating student in 1994. He also holds an MBA in Business Administration with a special bias for marketing and product development. He has attended several management courses in Nigeria and overseas. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School – having successfully completed the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) of the Institution
